Ryan Duffy

Ryan qualified with a BSc degree in Quantity Surveying with a 1st class honours degree from Liverpool John Moores University. Subsequently he obtained a Master of Laws qualification in Construction Law and Adjudication from Robert Gordon University.
Ryan originally joined Taggarts in 2004 as a senior surveyor. During the downturn he was employed by two well-known and prominent construction companies (Mivan and McAleer & Rushe) in a similar role before re-joining Taggarts in January 2016.

His role in Taggarts involves the following:

• Producing detailed costings for house types and developments for use in site appraisals
• Managing and negotiating contracts with sub-contractors
• Certifying and costing work completed
• Calculating WIP for presentation to funders
• Liaison with independent monitoring surveyors
• Oversight and control of the financial outcomes of projects
