Brendan Cunnane

Brendan is a highly experienced finance professional and chartered accountant. He has a degree in Financial Services from UCD Dublin and is a former Financial Controller at Bank of Ireland UK. He has also spent over 20 years working for three of the main banks (Santander, Danske and Bank of Ireland) principally in Corporate Finance roles.  Brendan’s experience covers all facets of property finance with direct industry experience also garnered in Eassda Group. Eassda was a large property development operation (c.€500m of assets) controlling two golf courses, a hotel, a holiday park and a large portfolio of residential development sites across the UK and Ireland.

Brendan joined Taggart homes in August 2018. His role is to plan and control the strategic direction and expansion of the group. He ensures that the group’s financial systems are enhanced and tailored appropriately to facilitate multiple financial reporting lines, maintain existing tight cashflow management and preserve full accountancy and taxation compliance across the group. His role also includes the management of the group’s investor and funder relationships and the negotiation and oversight of all finance agreements to ensure that the funding for the various projects is well structured, appropriate and robust.
